Abstract
Autocar. Está estructurado mediante dos volúmenes superpuestos y físicamente independientes, un cuerpo inferior (1) y una cabina superior (2), el primero destinado al tren motriz y a la carga y el segundo a los pasajeros y al puesto de conducción, estando estos elementos, cuerpo inferior (1) y cabina monocasco (2) relacionados entre sí mediante una serie de grupos (3) de unión articulado y amortiguada, que forman una alineación longitudinal y media entre ambos cuerpos y que permiten tanto amortiguar las vibraciones generadas en el cuerpo inferior (1), para que no lleguen a la cabina de pasajeros (2), como la basculación lateral de esta última en las curvas para desplazar convenientemente el centro de gravedad del vehículo y mejorar su estabilidad. Esta basculación lateral de la cabina (2) se produce automáticamente con la colaboración de cilindros hidráulicos de doble efecto controlados por un mecanismo accionado por el propio volante de dirección.
