Abstract

Modificante orgánico-mineral de alta efectividad para los sistemas de cemento. El mortificante es un complejo orgánico-mineral polidisperso seco, que consiste en un componente reductor de agua basado en un polímero orgánico con baja actividad adsorbente, en una mezcla de sales minerales activas con una superficie específica no menor de 1.500 cm{sup,2 /g y con alta capacidad adsorbente con respecto al agua. Como polímero orgánico se emplea un homopolímero, obtenido mediante polimerización controlada del formaldehído junto con formalina y un sistema iniciador mineral, agregando a continuación un regulador del grado de polimerización; el complejo orgánico-mineral polidisperso seco se obtiene sin emplear fuentes de calor complementarias. El mortificante no introduce aire ni retarda la cinética del endurecimiento de los sistemas de cemento. Este producto se puede utilizar en la fabricación de clinker, cemento y hormigón o de otros materiales de construcción que tienen como base cemento portlandy sus variedades.
