Abstract

Apparatus for transporting articles which includes a frame equipped with a pair of supporting elements installed in parallel and separated by a predetermined distance, a number of rollers installed on the respective supporting elements, separated at a predetermined distance and with the capacity to turn, and a number of drive units to activate the respective rollers are situated at individualised proportional sections grouping the respective rollers together along the sections of the transporter. The rollers installed on the supporting elements project through openings in the upper surfaces of the supporting elements and at least one pallet has both ends supported by the rollers that project from the supporting elements. This means that the turns/min of the respective drive units can be varied in order freely to regulate the speed of the movement of the pallet along the individualised sections.<IMAGE>
