Abstract

Circuit breaker comprises independent mechanism but working together, for neutral pole and for each electric phase used. Mechanism of each phase comprises circuit with magnetic section, placed in series with parallel part made with calibrating mechanism and bimetal (15) able to react in function of intensity. Bimetal induces thermal trigger that opens mechanism when over-intensities reach pre-determined values, while magnetic section induces magnetic trigger when over-intensities are higher.
