Abstract

Vehículos y tintas endurecibles por una radiación ultravioleta y procedimiento de utilización de los mismos en la fabricación de baldosas cerámicas. Se describe un nuevo tipo de vehículos y tintas serigráficas, que no requiere el uso de agentes ligantes externos. Asimismo, se describe el procedimiento de utilización de los mismos en la fabricación de baldosas decoradas. La composición de estos vehículos es: prepolímero (0,1-30%) monómero (0-30%), fotoiniciador (0-15%), líquido no reactivo (50-99%). La composición de la tinta es: frita (30-80%), pigmento (0-50%), vehículo (20-70%). El procedimiento consiste en aplicar una radiación ultravioleta a la tinta después de su aplicación para provocar su endurecimiento. La repetición de esta acción sobre diferentes tintas permite obtener la decoración deseada, que finalmente se somete a elevadas temperaturas para que el conjunto de la baldosa adquiera sus propiedades finales. El procedimiento también es válido cuando el soporte cerámico haya sido previamente cocido, pero no los recubrimientos de engobe y esmalte sobre los que se aplica la decoración.Vehicles and inks hardenable by ultraviolet radiation and their use procedure in the manufacture of ceramic tiles. The repetition of this action on different inks allows to obtain the desired decoration, which is finally subjected to high temperatures so that the whole tile acquires its final properties. The procedure is also valid when the ceramic support has been previously cooked, but not the engobe and enamel coatings on which the decoration is applied.
