Abstract
Compuestos orgánicos producidos por microorganismos, en particular exophiala pisciphila, y su uso como inhibidores de la interacción de CD28 y sus receptores específicos. La presente invención proporciona nuevos compuestos orgánicos que pueden obtenerse mediante el cultivo de microorganismos en particular cepas de hongos pertenecientes al género Exophiala u otros taxonómicamente relacionados. Estas sustancias son inhibidores de glicoproteínas, y particularmente de CD28, pudiendo actuar mediante la disrupción de las interacciones de CD28 con su receptor específico. La presente invención también proporciona procedimientos para la producción de las nuevas sustancias y otros metabolitos inhibidores de la glicoproteína o derivados de los mismos, que comprenden el cultivo de los microorganismos productores apropiados y el aislamiento de los metabolitos o sus derivados a partir de los cultivos.Organic compounds produced by microorganisms, in particular exophiala pisciphila, and their use as inhibitors of the interaction of CD28 and its specific receptors. The present invention also provides methods for the production of new substances and other glycoprotein inhibitor metabolites or derivatives thereof, which comprise the cultivation of the appropriate producing microorganisms and the isolation of the metabolites or their derivatives from the cultures.
