SE OBTIENEN MEJORES RENDIMIENTOS DE COSECHAS DETERMINANDO LOS SOLIDOS TOTALES DISUELTOS (TDS) EN UNA MUESTRA REPRESENTATIVA DE LOS TRASPLANTES PARA DETERMINAR LAS PROPORCIONES DE ARRAIGAMIENTO COMO UNA FUNCION LOGARITMICA DE LOS TDS ANTES DEL TRASPLANTE. LAS PLANTAS JOVENES CON ALTAS LECTURAS DE ARRAIGAMIENTO SON TRASPLANTADAS. SE UTILIZA UN REFRACTOMETRO QUE TIENE UNA ESCALA LOGARITMICA QUE MUESTRA LAS PROPORCIONES DE ARRAIGAMIENTO BAJAS, MEDIAS Y ALTAS COMO UNA LECTURA DIRECTA DE UNA MUESTRA. PUEDE UTILIZARSE UN BIORREGULADOR PARA INDUCIR ALTOS NIVELES DE LOS TDS ANTES DEL TRASPLANTE. UNA APLICACION PARTICULAR ES EL TRASPLANTE DE FRESAS.
