Abstract

The plant consists of individual manual work steps (1,3,7,9,12) with mechanical work steps (2,4,5,6,8,10,11,13) arranged in a star shape around them. This arrangement forms one work station (60) with one working location (50). Several work stations are arranged nest-like with respect to each other and form different working locations (50-54). The manual work-steps are processes that require special knowledge and abilities. The sum of all manual work-steps corresponds to the cycle time (t). The order of the work-steps is according to the technological process for the production and assembly requirements and cannot be decided arbitrary.
