Abstract
System for automatic route control in auto-guided, self-propelled transport trolleys. The trolley has the means to change its direction, in order to keep its axis (A) aligned with a pre-established route a fixed track (20) is made up of a number of primary magnets (21) arranged on the floor. The vehicle has a primary detection device (30) for detecting the axis (A) displacement with respect to the primary magnets and for changing direction with the aim of cancelling out the displacement. Arranged all along the track are a number of secondary magnets (22), in predetermined control/reference positions, with a different magnetic field to that of the primary magnets (21). There is a second detection device (40) on the trolley that works in correspondence with a reference centre (P) in order to selectively detect the presence of the secondary magnets (22) that are at a relatively short distance from the reference centre (P), rather than the primary magnets (21).
