Abstract

Aislamiento térmico para uso en condiciones de campo gravitatorio reducido. Especialmente concebido para zonas de atmósfera presurizada en vehículos y estaciones espaciales, donde no se presenta el fenómeno de convección del aire originado por la variación de densidad del mismo en función de la temperatura, está constituido mediante dos paredes paralelas (1-1"''), entre las que se establece un espacio (3) contenedor de aire confinado actuante como aislante térmico propiamente dicho, estando las citadas paredes (1-1"'') revestidas, tanto en su cara interna como en su cara externa, por una capa de un material altamente reflector de la radiación infrarroja. En este sentido cada pared (1-1"'') puede materializarse en una lámina de poliimida o poliéster de reducido espesor, con sus caras dotadas de un recubrimiento (2) a base de un aluminizado por deposición.
