Abstract

Método de unión a polímeros de un compuesto indicador sensible al analito, para fabricación de sensores ópticos y su dispositivo. Se ha desarrollado un método para inmovilizar covalentemente indicadores ópticos luminiscentes a polímeros orgánicos o inorgánicos provistos de grupos funcionales de carácter nucleófilo (tales como por ejemplo, policondensados de ácido silícico), que proporciona fases indicadoras para construir dispositivos ópticos capaces de determinar, de forma continua y en tiempo real, la concentración de analitos que desactiven la luminiscencia de dichos indicadores anclados a dichos soportes, tales como por ejemplo el oxígeno molecular contenido en una muestra líquida, semilíquida o gaseosa en las cuáles es insoluble el soporte que contiene el indicador. Dicho método y el dispositivo resultante utilizan, sin ser exclusivo, ciertos complejos metal-orgánicos luminiscentes [como, por ejemplo, el (5-acetamida-1,10-fenantrolina)bis[1,10-fenantrolina-4,7-di(fenilsulfonato)]rutenat o(II) disódico] unidos químicamente a un soporte de vidrio poroso, cuya intensidad y tiempo de vida (i.e. el inverso de la constante de velocidad) de emisión de radiación visible se modifican en presencia de concentraciones crecientes del analito existente en la muestra. La sensibilidad a los distintos analitos cuantificables es función de la estructura del indicador luminiscente utilizado, del procedimiento de inmovilización del mismo y de la naturaleza de la muestra.
