Abstract

Guarnición metálica de tres capas con revestimiento doble. Una guarnición mejorada de capas múltiples consta de tres placas metálicas únicamente e incorpora un sistema de revestimiento doble, aplicándose revestimientos diferentes a capas concretas de la guarnición. Mediante la orientación de las capas, se utiliza un revestimiento resistente a temperaturas elevadas que propicia un cierre estanco a los gases de combustión, y un revestimiento elastómero de cierre estanco que propicia el cierre estanco a los fluidos. Mediante la selección de los grosores de los metales base y los grosores de los revestimientos, puede lograrse una zona de grosor mayor para obtener un equilibrio de cargas óptimo entre el cierre estanco a la combustión y el cierre estanco a los fluidos.
