Abstract

A junction box for a data network has a box housing (11) and a circuit board (21) which is mounted therein and supports at least one data socket connector (38) which has a central plate (28). The plate (28) has a bearing surface (29) parallel to a flange plane (13), covers the box housing (11) in the region of the flange plane (13), and has a plug opening (41). The central plate (28) is connected in a mechanically rigid fashion to the circuit board (21), and the two are mounted for adjustment in a direction at right angles to the flange plane (13). Adjustment is achieved by an optional spacer (59).
