Abstract

Composition capable of producing foam against fires, foam, and fire prevention and extinction system that uses said foam. The composition includes an anionic tensioactive and a foam stabilising agent, in a tensioactive proportion the stabilising agent is between 1:1 and 4:1 in weight. This composition is capable of producing foam to combat fires that can be used in fire extinction system that includes equipment to project said fire that includes a pressurised gas fluid tube (1), a pressurised water tube (2) that includes a Venturi tube connected to a store (3) that contains said composition, a gauge valve (4), a ball (5) store that has a grate (6), a collector (7), a guide (8) and a diffuser (9).< IMAGE >Composition comprises anionic surfactant (I) and a foam stabilising agent (II) in a ratio (I):(II) of 1:1 to 4:1 by weight. The composition is used in a fire-fighting system including an apparatus to project the foam, comprising a conduit for a pressurised gaseous fluid, a pressurised water conduit including a Venturi tube connected to a reservoir containing the composition, a valve, a ball tank containing a rack, a collector, a conductor and a diffuser.
