SE TRATA DE UN APARATO ELECTRONICO, BASADO EN DSPS(A), QUE SE CONECTA A UN ORDENADOR PERSONAL. EL DISPOSITIVO INTERPRETA LAS ORDENES QUE LE LLEGAN DEL ORDENADOR PARA GENERAR LAS SEÑALES AUDIOLOGICAS DE LA FRECUENCIA Y NIVEL PRECISOS, ACTUANDO SOBRE UN ATENUADOR CALIBRADO (B). TODO EL PROCESO DE OPERATIVIDAD SE REALIZA DESDE UN ORDENADOR PERSONAL QUE SE COMUNICA CON EL DISPOSITIVO VIA RS232. EL APARATO PERMITE REALIZAR AUDIOMETRIAS AEREAS CON TONOS PUROS, CUMPLIENDO LAS ESPECIFICACIONES TECNICAS Y DE PROCEDIMIENTO EXIGIBLES A LOS AUDIOMETROS DE TIPO IV SEGUN LA NORMA IEC 645.DESIGN AND PROCEDURE OF AN ELECTRONIC SYSTEM CONTROLLED BY COMPUTER, FOR THE REALIZATION OF AERIAL AUDIOMETRIES WITH PURE TONES MANUALLY AND AUTOMATICALLY. IT IS AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE, BASED ON DSPS (A), THAT IS CONNECTED TO A PERSONAL COMPUTER. THE DEVICE INTERPRETS THE ORDERS ARRIVING FROM THE COMPUTER TO GENERATE ACCURATE AUDIOLOGICAL SIGNALS OF FREQUENCY AND LEVEL, ACTING ON A CALIBRATED ATTENUATOR (B). THE ENTIRE OPERATION PROCESS IS PERFORMED FROM A PERSONAL COMPUTER THAT COMMUNICATES WITH THE VIA RS232 DEVICE. THE APPLIANCE ALLOWS TO PERFORM AERIAL AUDIOMETRIES WITH PURE TONES, COMPLYING WITH THE TECHNICAL AND PROCEDURAL SPECIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR TYPE IV AUDIOMETERS ACCORDING TO THE IEC 645 STANDARD.
