SE TRATA DE UN APARATO ELECTRONICO, BASADO EN DSPS(A), QUE SE CONECTA A UN ORDENADOR PERSONAL. EL DISPOSITIVO INTERPRETA LAS ORDENES QUE LE LLEGAN DEL ORDENADOR PARA GENERAR LAS SEÑALES AUDIOLOGICAS DE LA FRECUENCIA Y NIVEL PRECISOS, ACTUANDO SOBRE UN ATENUADOR CALIBRADO (B). TODO EL PROCESO DE OPERATIVIDAD SE REALIZA DESDE UN ORDENADOR PERSONAL QUE SE COMUNICA CON EL DISPOSITIVO VIA RS232. EL APARATO PERMITE REALIZAR AUDIOMETRIAS AEREAS CON TONOS PUROS, CUMPLIENDO LAS ESPECIFICACIONES TECNICAS Y DE PROCEDIMIENTO EXIGIBLES A LOS AUDIOMETROS DE TIPO IV SEGUN LA NORMA IEC 645.
