Abstract
The self-adjustment device (D) comprises a main body (3) provided with means (MA) for its anchoring to a fixed point (F), a regulation rod (4) provided with means (12p, 15) for its securing to one extremity (CD) of the sheath (16) of the steel cable (6) and wherein is partially housed the main body (3), and retention means (MR). The retention means (MR) comprise, in the main body (3), a threading (17) with a sawtooth profile, and in the rod (4), a fixing sleeve (18) provided with guiding means (MG) in order to provide for the displacement of the rod (4) in both directions by threading, and providing for its displacement in the direction where the rod (4) receives to a major extent the main body (3) by elastic deformation of the guiding means (MG).
