Abstract
LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN METODO Y A UN DISPOSITIVO PARA EL ANALISIS MECANICO DE UNA FIBRA OPTICA. CON ESTE FIN, LA FIBRA TIENE UNA SERIE DE ESPIRAS. EL DIAMETRO DE LAS ESPIRAS ESTA RELACIONADO CON EL DIAMETRO Y LAS CARACTERISTICAS DE RESISTENCIA DE LA FIBRA. PARA OBTENER UNA CURVATURA DEFINIDA DE LA FIBRA, LA CURVATURA SE LLEVA A CABO MEDIANTE UN ELEMENTO QUE CONTIENE AL MENOS UNA SUPERFICIE PARCIALMENTE CIRCULAR. EL ESFUERZO A QUE SE SOMETE LA FIBRA INDICA QUE LA FIBRA SE ROMPE EN UNA SERIE DE PUNTOS DURANTE EL TIEMPO QUE DURA EL ANALISIS. LAS FRACTURAS SE REGISTRAN Y ACOPLAN PARA CALCULAR LAS CARACTERISTICAS DE FATIGA DE LA FIBRA.
