Abstract

EL PROCEDIMIENTO MICROBIOLOGICO PARA LA BIODEGRADACION DE COMPUESTOS AROMATICOS Y SINTESIS DE PIGMENTOS Y COLORANTES, ALCALOIDES Y POLIMEROS, MEDIANTE LA UTILIZACION LA CEPA RECOMBINANTE E.COLI P-260, SE CARACTERIZA POR LA EXPRESION CONSTITUTIVA DE LA ENZIMA 4-HPA HIDROXILASA DE K.PNEUMONIAE. ESTA ENZIMA PARTICIPA EN LA DEGRADACION DEL ACIDO 4-HIDROXIFENILACETICO (4-HPA), UNO DE LOS COMPUESTOS PRESENTES EN EL "ALPECHIN". LA BAJA ESPECIFICIDAD DE SUSTRATO DE LA ENZIMA Y SU DOBLE ACTIVIDAD CATALITICA: A) HIDROXILACION DE COMPUESTOS MONO-HIDROXILADOS A INTEMMEDIARIOS DI-HIDROXILADOS Y B) OXIDACION DE COMPUESTOS DI-HIDROXILADOS A QUINONAS, PERMITE SU UTILIZACION EN UNA DOBLE VERTIENTE: 1) DEGRADACION DE COMPUESTOS AROMATICOS TOXICOS DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE Y 2) SINTESIS DE COMPUESTOS ORGANICOS DE INTERES INDUSTRIAL, CUYA BASE ESTRUCTURAL SEA UNA QUINONA.
