Abstract

Starting with the use of a gas reaction turbine 1, suitably installed on the deck of the boat or at any other point thereon, the turbine has coupled to it a primary receiver (manifold) 2, bent or arched downwards, to whose vertical outlet neck 3 is coupled an outlet manifold 4 provided with a bent or arched nozzle 5, the outlet aperture 6 of which is located horizontally under the water. The stream of energy which emerges via this nozzle propels the boat whilst the orientable character of the nozzle converts it, in parallel, into a rudder. Analogously, the primary receiver 2 could be oriented upwards in order to be coupled to an outlet manifold with overhead nozzles or a bifurcated primary receiver could be set up, making it possible to supply, without distinction, a submerged nozzle or overhead nozzles.
