Abstract

An improved device for producing single-face corrugated board is disclosed, which has minimal vibration, produces minimal noise and limits the formation of pressure marks, which device has the following: an upper corrugated roll (16) a lower corrugated roll (18), which comes into engagement with the upper corrugated roll (16) to form a predetermined corrugation on a medium to be corrugated or a corrugated web (20) which is fed between the latter a gluing device (16) for gluing the flutes of the corrugation in the corrugated web (20) and a contact pressure device (55) which is arranged adjacent to the lower corrugated roll (16) and which is equipped with an endless belt (64) which runs over a plurality of rolls so that it can run freely through them a covering layer (liner) (66) being pressed against the glued flutes of the corrugation of the corrugated web (20) in the contact pressure device, in order that they be bonded to the corrugated web (20) and form a single-face corrugated board web. The device for producing single-face corrugated board is characterised in that a movable body (44) is arranged that it can be moved closer to or further away from the main body (14), the contact pressure device (54) being arranged in the movable body (44), and the endless belt (74) of the contact pressure device (54)... against the lower corrugated roll (13) via the corrugated web (20) and the covering layer (66) by means of movement of the movable body...
