Abstract
The indicator (10) has an excitation coil (12) in series with a switch (14) and housing an oscillating core (16). The indicator is linked to a car battery via two terminals (18,20). A resistor (22) is connected in parallel with the coil and switch in order to eliminate parasitic noise. Two Zener diodes (26,28) are mounted in parallel with the switch. They eliminate electromagnetic noise generated by the switch.
