Abstract

Vehicle seat positioned beside the driver's seat in an omnibus having a rotary plate (15) between the seat support (13) and the seat shell (14), and an adjustable backrest (12) joined to a rear guide rod (20) by a coupling (34). Coupling elements (42, 58, 35) are provided between an adjustment mechanism (41) and the backrest, between the seat support and the seat shell, and in the coupling (34), allowing position adjustments to the seat to be made manually using just one of the elements (58, 42).
