THE INVENTION IS RELATED TO AN IMPROVED ENZYMATIC OXIDATION PROCESS TO CONVERT CEPHALOSPORIN C INTO GLUTARIL-7-AMINOCEPHALOSPORANIC ACID (DESIGNATED BELOW GLUTARIL-7-ACA) WHICH COMPLIES WITH THE ESTAUCTION OF A SOLUKAU CONTACT D-AMINO ACID OXYLDASE; IN WHICH THE MIXTURE CONTAINING D-AMINO ACID OXIDASE IS OBTAINED FROM A MUTANT MICROORGANISM OF CVATRIGONOPSIS VARIABILIS, WHOSE MUTANT SHOWS 5 PERCENT OR LESS OF ESTERASA ACTIVITY DURING YIVA DEUR-DIVA VARIABILIS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING D-AMINO ACID OXIDASE.
