SE PROPONE UN PROCEDIMIENTO QUE COMPRENDE EL TRATAMIENTO DE UN AGUA RESIDUAL URBANA (ARU) MEDIANTE LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: A) DESBASTE Y/O DESARENADO Y/O DESENGRASADO. B) MICROTAMIZADO O DECANTACION PRIMARIA DE SOLIDOS SUSPENDIDOS EN EL ARU UTILIZANDO VELOCIDADES ASCENSIONALES RELATIVAMENTE ALTAS. C) FERMENTACION ACIDA DEL EFLUENTE DE LA ETAPA ANTERIOR EN UN REACTOR ANOXICO DE LECHO FIJO O FLUIDIZADO Y FLUJO ASCENDENTE, OPERADO A BAJA VELOCIDAD ASCENSIONAL. ESTA FERMENTACION ES COADYUVADA POR LA INCORPORACION DE LOS SUSTRATOS SOLUBLES ORIGINADOS EN LA HIDROLISIS DE LOS SOLIDOS ACUMULADOS EN EL VOLUMEN INFERIOR DEL REACTOR, QUE NO CONTIENE MATERIAL SOPORTE. EL EFLUENTE DE LA ETAPA C CONSTITUYE EL ARU YA ACONDICIONADA PARA QUE MEDIANTE SISTEMAS ALTERNATIVOS ANOXIA/OXIA (A/O) DE LODOS ACTIVOS SEA POSIBLE LA ELIMINACION DE NITROGENO Y FOSFORO. ASI MISMO, LOS SOLIDOS PRODUCIDOS EN B Y C SE INCORPORAN EN LA LINEA DE LODOS DE ESTOS SISTEMAS.PROCEDURE TO CONVERT URBAN WASTEWATER TO EASILY BIODEGRADABLE. A PROCEDURE IS PROPOSED THAT INCLUDES THE TREATMENT OF A URBAN WASTEWATER (ARU) THROUGH THE FOLLOWING STAGES: A) ROUGHING AND / OR DE-SANDING AND / OR DEGREASING. B) MICROTAMIZED OR PRIMARY DECANTATION OF SUSPENDED SOLIDS IN THE ARU USING RELATIVELY HIGH ASCENSIONAL SPEEDS. C) ACID FERMENTATION OF THE PREVIOUS STAGE EFFLUENT IN AN ANOXIC FIXED OR FLUIDIZED BED REACTOR AND UPWARD FLOW, OPERATED AT LOW ASCENSIONAL SPEED. THIS FERMENTATION IS SUPPORTED BY THE INCORPORATION OF THE SOLUBLE SUBSTRATES ORIGINATED IN THE HYDROLYSIS OF THE SOLIDS ACCUMULATED IN THE LOWER VOLUME OF THE REACTOR, WHICH DOES NOT CONTAIN SUPPORT MATERIAL. THE EFFLUENT OF STAGE C CONSTITUTES THE ARU ALREADY CONDITIONED SO THAT ALTERNATIVE ALOXIA / OXIA (A / O) SYSTEMS OF ACTIVE SLUDGE IS POSSIBLE TO ELIMINATE NITROGEN AND PHOSPHORUS. ALSO, THE SOLIDS PRODUCED IN B AND C ARE INCORPORATED IN THE SLUDGE LINE OF THESE SYSTEMS.
