THROUGH THE ANTENNA SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INVENTION, A MECHANICAL SUPPORT MAY BE PROVIDED FOR THE SUPPLY DEVICES AND THE SUPPLY LINES. IF A HEMISPHERIC LENS IS USED, THE ANTENNA SYSTEM IS LESS HEAVY AND ESPECIALLY IN THIS CASE THE LENGTH OF THE SUPPLY LINES REQUIRED MAY BE REDUCED AND THE EFFICIENCY OF RECEPTION INCREASED. THE SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INVENTION IS PREFERABLY USED AS PART OF A SYSTEM FOR RECEIVING DIRECT EMISSION SATELLITE MICROWAVES FROM DIFFERENT SATELLITES.
