Abstract
It consists of successive series of a number of coils A, B, C,..., N which, placed around a tube, give rise inside said tube to magnetic fields when an electric current passes through them. The electric current is made to pass successively via the coils A, B, C,... and N, in such a manner that the magnetic fields generated are displaced longitudinally along the tube. The linked action of the magnetic field generated by each one of the coils of each series will cause the displacement of any particle sensitive to the attraction of magnetic fields, producing an effect equivalent to the displacement of the particles caused by the rotation of a volute of an endless screw which will be employed with the same function. The repetition of the effect by each one of the series of coils arranged around the tube makes the assembly into a device capable of transporting solid particles if the latter have suitable magnetic properties.
