Abstract
UN SISTEMA REFLECTOR DOBLE DISPONE DE DOS ESPEJOS PRIMARIOS COLOCADOS DE FORMA SEPARADA Y ORIENTADOS HACIA UN PUNTO FOCAL COMUN. EL SISTEMA OPTICO DISPONE ADEMAS DE DOS ESPEJOS DEFLECTORES SECUNDARIOS SEPARADOS, ASI COMO DE ESPEJOS DEFLECTORES TERCIARIOS, PARA LA CONCENTRACION DEL RAYO EN UN PUNTO FOCAL COMUN. TANTO LOS ESPEJOS PRIMARIOS COMO LOS ESPEJOS DEFLECTORES SECUNDARIOS SON DEFLECTORES CONOCIDOS COMO OFF-AXIS, POR EJEMPLO SUS SUPERFICIES REPRESENTAN SECCIONES DE LA SUPERFICIE DE UN CUERPO DE ESPEJO GRANDE, HIPOTETICAMENTE ESFERICO. LOS ESPEJOS PRIMARIOS, COMO SECCIONES DE LA SUPERFICIE DE UN GRAN ESPEJO HIPOTETICAMENTE HIPERBOLICO, ESTAN INCLINADOS EN UN ANGULO CON RESPECTO AL EJE OPTICO COMUN Y ESTAN SITUADOS A UNA DISTANCIA PREDETERMINADA, DE TAL MODO QUE EL RAYO MARGINAL INTERNO DE LA RADIACION INCIDENTE SE ENCUENTRA MAS CERCA CON EL EJE OPTICO. LOS ESPEJOS PRIMARIOS DE MAS DE OCHO METROS EN DIAMETRO DEBE ESTAR FORMADO POR SEGMENTOS INDIVIDUALES ACOPLADOS A LOS CORRESPONDIENTES SEGMENTOS DE LOS ESPEJOS DEFLECTORES SECUNDARIOS QUE SE EN ENCUENTRAN DE FORMA OPUESTA A ELLOS EN EL CAMINO DEL RAYO POR MEDIO DE UN SISTEMA DE MEDIDA DE ALTA PRECISION ASISTIDO POR COMPUTADOR, DE FORMA QUE CADA DESVIACION DE LA POSICION DE LOS SEGMENTOS DEL ESPEJO PRIMARIO PUEDE SER EFECTUADA MEDIANTE ACTUACION DEL DESPLAZAMIENTO CORRECTIVO EN TIEMPO REAL DE LOS SEGMENTOS OPUESTOS CORRESPONDIENTE DE LOS ESPEJOS DEFLECTORES SECUNDARIOS.
