ESTA INVENCION SE REFIERE A CELDAS GALVANICAS A UTILIZAR EN EL AGUA DE MAR Y A BATERIAS Y, EN PARTICULAR, A CATODOS ADECUADOS PARA SU USO EN CELDAS GALVANICAS QUE UTILIZAN UN OXIDANTE DISUELTO EN EL ELECTROLITO COMO DESPOLARIZADOR. UN EJEMPLO DE TALES CELDAS SON LAS CELDAS QUE SE UTILIZAN EN EL AGUA DE MAR QUE HACEN USO DEL OXIGENO DISUELTO EN EL AGUA DE MAR COMO OXIDANTE. LA CELDA TIENE UN ELECTRODO INERTE QUE CONSTA DE UNA SERIE DE FIBRAS CONDUCTORAS (1, 3, 14) CONECTADAS A UN CUERPO CONDUCTOR (2, 4, 15). LAS FIBRAS (1, 3, 14) SE ENCUENTRAN COLOCADAS DE MANERAS DIFERENTES UNAS RESPECTO A OTRAS Y RESPECTO AL CUERPO (2, 4, 15).
