UN EJEMPLO DE TALES CELDAS SON LAS CELDAS QUE SE UTILIZAN EN EL AGUA DE MAR QUE HACEN USO DEL OXIGENO DISUELTO EN EL AGUA DE MAR COMO OXIDANTE. LA CELDA TIENE UN ELECTRODO INERTE QUE CONSTA DE UNA SERIE DE FIBRAS CONDUCTORAS (1, 3, 14) CONECTADAS A UN CUERPO CONDUCTOR (2, 4, 15).
