CON MICROTOMO DE CONGELACION QUE CONSISTE EN UNA PREPARACION PARTICULAR DE LAS MUESTRAS DE CORCHO Y QUE SE CARACTERIZA PORQUE SE OBTIENEN SECCIONES QUE CONTIENEN EL CRECIMIENTO RADIAL ACUMULADO EN UN PERIODO MAS O MENOS LARGO. LA METODOLOGIA EMPLEADA SE CARACTERIZA PORQUE SE CORTAN MUESTRAS DE CORCHO EN PEQUEÑAS COLUMNAS RADIALES Y SE METEN EN TUBOS DE ENSAYO CON AGUA DESTILADA CON UN HUMECTANTE EN CANTIDAD DE 4-5 GOTAS, SE MANTIENEN EN ESTUFA DURANTE 15-20 DIAS. UNA VEZ EMPAPADAS TOTALMENTE LAS COLUMNAS SE CORTAN CON EL MICROTO DE FORMA HABITUAL. LA APLICACION DE ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO PERMITE DETERMINAR LOS PARAMETROS IMPLICADOS EN LA VALORACION DE LA CALIDAD DEL CORCHO, PUDIENDO DISPONER POR PRIMERA VEZ DE CORTES QUE CONTIENEN EL CRECIMIENTO RADIAL ACUMULADO DURANTE UN PERIODO DETERMINADO, Y DETERMINAR EL ORIGEN GEOGRAFICO DE LAS MUESTRAS DEL CORCHO.PROCEDURE FOR THE OBTAINING OF THIN SECTIONS OF THE CORK FROM QUERCUS SUBER L. WITH A FREEZING MICROTOME THAT CONSISTS OF A PARTICULAR PREPARATION OF THE CORK SAMPLES AND THAT IS CHARACTERIZED BY THE OBTAINING SECTIONS THAT CONTAIN LONGER RADIO GROWTH OR A LITTLE PERIOD . THE METHODOLOGY USED IS CHARACTERIZED BECAUSE CORK SAMPLES ARE CUT IN SMALL RADIAL COLUMNS AND PLACED IN TEST TUBES WITH DISTILLED WATER WITH A HUMIDANT IN A QUANTITY OF 4-5 DROPS, KEPT IN A STOVE FOR 15-20 DAYS. ONCE THE COLUMNS ARE FULLY SOAKED, THE CUTTINGS ARE CUT WITH THE HABITUAL WAY. THE APPLICATION OF THIS PROCEDURE ALLOWS TO DETERMINE THE PARAMETERS INVOLVED IN THE ASSESSMENT OF THE QUALITY OF THE CORK, BEING ABLE TO HAVE FOR THE FIRST TIME CUTS CONTAINING ACCUMULATED RADIAL GROWTH DURING A DETERMINED PERIOD OF THE SOURCE OF THE GEOGRAPHICAL SOURCE.
