Abstract

A paper bag has a closure flap, which can be folded over along a folding line (2a), and a carrying handle (1) which is bonded to the paper bag. The carrying handle (1) is constructed as a multi-layered strip which is folded over in the longitudinal direction and is slotted over part of its length along the folding line (1c) starting from its two ends. In this case, the end-side handle regions (1f and 1g; 1h and 1i) which are separated from one another by the slots (1d; 1e) are bonded to the paper bag on different sides of the folding line (2a) of said paper bag. <IMAGE>
