Abstract

The food additive consists in homogenising a mixture of 180 grams of potassium metabisulphite, 70 grams of ascorbic acid, 50 grams of citric acid and 700 grams of sodium chloride or common salt, which acts as excipient for maintaining a buffer solution of constant pH within which it acts as additive. Packaging will take place in moisture-proof hermetically sealed non-carcinogenic containers manufactured for any of the abovementioned materials, in order to prevent the occurrence of any type of reaction between the contents and the container.
