LA TENSION (U 1) DEL POTENCIADOR ES REGULADA POR LA CONEXION Y LA DESCONEXION DE LA CORRIENTE DE CAMPO DEL GENERADOR. LA CONEXION Y LA DESCONEXION SE REALIZAN POR UN REGULADOR DE VOLTAJE (4). EL REGULADOR DE VOLTAJE (4) DETERMINA EL VALOR ACTUAL DE TENSION EN LAS TERMINALES DEL GENERADOR Y DA LUGAR A UN CAMPO ELECTRICO EN EL CAMPO DE ACCION DEL GENERADOR (1).
