EL INVENTO SE REFIERE A UN SENSOR DE OXIGENO DE MATERIAL SOLIDO EN FORMA DE UNA CELULA ELECTROLITICA, CON UN PRIMER ELECTRODO, EXPUESTO A LA ATMOSFERA CON LA PRESION PARCIAL DEL OXIGENO A MEDIR, CON UN SEGUNDO ELECTRODO EXPUESTO A UNA ATMOSFERA DE REFERENCIA Y UN ELECTROLITO DE MATERIAL SOLIDO, EN CONTACTO SUPERFICIAL CON AMBOS ELECTRODOS, EL MATERIAL DEL ELECTROLITO ES UN OXIDO CERAMICO O UNA FASE CRISTALINA CON UNA LINEA PURA DE IONES Y POR LO MENOS EL PRIMER ELECTRODO CONTIENE UN OXIDO CERAMICO NO ESTEQUIOMETRICO.
