Abstract

A collapsible carton is described, with end walls (8, 9) and side walls (4, 5) which are connected to a bottom (1) by folds (6, 7, 2, 3). Connected laterally via folds (12) to the end walls are connection tabs (10) which are in each case divided by a diagonal fold (11) and the part (10.2) of which connected via the diagonal fold is in each case fastened to the outside of the side wall. Connected via folds (13) to the end walls are inwardly foldable stacking tabs (14) which are provided via a fold (15) in each case with lateral extension tabs (16) which are in each case fastened to the part (10.1) of a connection tab lying inside the diagonal fold. Arranged in each case in the end regions of the stacking tabs is an inclined fold (14.1) which ends in the corner where the end wall, the connection tab and the stacking tab come together. The part of a connection tab connected via the diagonal fold is in each case bent back to the associated end wall in such a manner that both parts of the connection tab lie opposite one another spreadably in relation to one another. The part of the connection tab connected via the diagonal fold and the side wall fastened thereto thus lie in the region of the inclined fold directly below the stacking tab and prevent bowing of the stacking tab downwards in this region. <IMAGE>
