Abstract

Suspension for vehicles, of the torsion bar type, said bar (1) beeng subdivided into a series of successive portions (8 through 12) of decreasing cross-section, each of them having its proper rotation capacity and a limited rotation freedom which are integrally transmitted to the next portion. The totality of the portions may be formed in a single bar or in two or more independent bars which may be aligned or parallel, successive portions (11 and 12) of consecutive bars (14 and 15) being related between each other at their adjacent extremities through transfer means (19) which transmit totally the torque and angle of rotation between said bars.
