Abstract

The invention consists of an optical system which gives rise to three-dimensional viewing, being based on the use of two images reproduced by two, twin TV sets placed in such a manner that their screens form a right angle, there being, between both of them, an equidistant pane of glass 45 degree from the screens on which are coupled polarising filters which act at an angle of 90 degree with respect to one another. The system is supplemented by the use of polarising spectacles, the angle of polarisation of each eye being the same as that of the screen whose image they receive respectively, it being possible for both polarising filters to achieve a rotation of 90 degree. With very slight modifications, the invention can be applied to TV receivers and monitors, computers and video games, translucent photographs, semi-transparencies, duratrans films, and in general to any image formed by dots or light masses.
