Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the weight of and facilitate the assembly of a fuel distributor system by segmenting every one of its pipes into two portions, or a straight central portion and two bent end portions, so that their opposing ends are connectable via fluid coupling elements of a victaulic pipe joint. CONSTITUTION: A fuel distributor system 1 especially for use in a vehicle is of a type having a plurality of pipes 2, which are each segmented into a straight central portion 4 and bent end portions 5 and 6. Both bent end portions 5 and 6 are connectable, for usage, to their associated opposing ends of the central portion 4 via fluid coupling elements 7, 8 and 9 of a victaulic pipe joint in fluid-tight fashion, where the elements 7, 8 and 9 are respectively fixed to the opposing ends 11 of the end portions 5 and 6, and the opposing ends 12 and 13 of the central portion 4. All those members thus separated from each other can freely be piled up in a limited place and can be assembled with ease when the need arises.
