Abstract

A gas cylinder of the type of those which comprise two concentric cylindrical bodies (1, 2) joined by pipes giving passage to a gas from one or other of the chambers during the movements of the piston (5). The piston is limited by two stop pieces or ends, which themselves consist of elements made from assembled thermoplastic material. The elements of each bottom are joined together and are equipped with various means for facilitating the movements of the valve stem (7) and of the main rod (6) with greater accuracy and greater durability.
