Abstract

These elements are formed by an inner core formed by semi- foamed thermoplastic polymer and an outer cover consisting of a compact thermoplastic resin. The inner core may be made from polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, ABS or polypropylene, with a thickness of between 8 and 30 mm. The outer layer consists of polymethyl methacrylate or high-impact- resistant polymethyl methacrylate, with a thickness of between 0.5 and 3 mm.
