Abstract
Improvements in heat shields for capturing light rays. The object is to double the level of natural light by reducing the effects of vibration by restricting the ultraviolet band and increasing the entry of infrared rays. It consists of a support plate 1, a hologram 2 that forms a grid or network that changes the refractive index integrated in a panel consisting of a double circuit 3-3' of a selective heat-absorbing fluid 4 transparent to the visible spectrum of light but opaque to infrared rays, and containing an air chamber 5 between the double circuits 3-3'. The selective fluid 4 is recycled to a heat exchanger 6 containing eutectic salts 7. Each panel of the installation admits and discharges the selective fluid 4 through ducts 8 that are common to both circuits 3-3', there being a valve 9 situated between them that prevents the passage of the liquid to the external bypass 3' during the night. There are some baffle gratings 10 actuated automatically by a temperature sensor that regulate the airflow.
