Abstract

The signal light has a transparent housing (1), which is mounted on a holder (2) and an optical panel (5), which is provided with coloured strips, in order to lend the light in a switched-off condition, a determined appearance, produced by the application of a laquer or a paint (3). The optical panel (5) has focusing means (8) on the side which faces the bulbs (11,12,13) of the signal light, which are suitable for focusing the light beams transmitted by the bulbs into narrow grooves (7), which are arranged on the side of the optical panel, which lies on the side facing the bulbs. USE/ADVANTAGE - Signal lamp of standardised appearance. Easier to mass produce, facilitates standardised appearance with all switching functions switched off. Attains optical power sufficient for each of switched on functions.
