Abstract

Sterile powder forms of antibiotics (penicillins and cephalosporins) for reconstitution for injection, are prepared by spray-drying an aqueous-alcoholic solution of the antibiotic and a salt-forming agent therefor, in an inert gas (e.g. nitrogen).
