Abstract

A distributor tube indicates to a patient who has to take a pill of medicine (aspirin or other cardiovascular drug) once a day, whether he has taken it or not. The tube (1)r has a tightly fitting cap (2) with an arrow (3) and a slot (4). The tube has markings (5) for the days of the week which correspond to notches in the rim. An alternative version has a transparent slot (6) with markings 1 - 7 in a spacing to conform to the thickness of one pill. This shows to the patient how many pills are left in the tube. ADVANTAGE - This is a valuable aid to many forgetful patients.
