Abstract

In this refrigeration equipment, use is made of a Peltier thermoelectric element 19 as heat pump between a first heat exchanger 20, 23, 24 inside a refrigerator 10 and a second heat exchanger 18, 28, 29, 30, 31 located on the outer side of the rear wall 11 of the refrigerator. The two heat exchangers each have a metal block 20 and 18 which is located in a heat-conducting connection with a Peltier element 19, either directly or, alternatively, via a heat-conducting unit 15. For the automatic regulation of the supply of electrical energy to the current circuit supplying the Peltier element 19, provision is made for an electric circuit connecting with a variable resistance element which serves as temperature probe. This refrigeration equipment has a relatively low energy consumption, does not produce sensitive power points during connection and has a very long service life.
