Abstract
A bipolar electrode of an electric accumulator comprises a base (1) of a non-electroconductive material with an opening (2) in it, a positive (3) and a negative (4) active material situated on different sides of the base (1). A current conducting element (5) is hermetically secured in the opening (2), contacting by its opposite sides (6, 7), respectively, with the positive (3) and the negative (4) active material. The relation of the diameter of the opening (2) to the perimeter length of the base (1) varies within the range of 0.01...0.1, and the relation of the diameter of the opening (2) to the thickness of the base (1) around the opening varies within the range of 1...10.
