Abstract

Valve which facilitates the passage of water via two conduits, in an alternating manner. It is formed by a float which has a valve in its lower part which, as it is surrounded with liquid, floats, allowing the passage of the water. As it has a hollow structure equipped with holes, it is able to fill up with the passage of water, increasing in weight, which gives rise to the blocking- off of the outlet, facilitating the passage of water via the other conduit. The float will lose the water over the course of a number of hours since it has a hole for drainage over a set period. Applicable to the collection of water and discharge of the initial, dirty rainwater running off roofs.
