Abstract

The plant consists of a stone sepn. and pre-wash section totally flooded with water and comprising a cylindrical tank with conical base in which is a conical and hemispherical diffuser. The washing channels with a series of lateral and central deflectors, are followed by a rotating cylinder separator of water and oil with a helical feed screw. Below this is a series of water storage and sedimentation tanks with a system of syphoning and contra-pumping. In the final tank is a suction pump actuating the hydraulic system of the plant.
