Abstract

Installation arrangement, which operates with an overvoltage arrestor in conductor to a load which is to be protected, and with a switching member, in a common retaining housing, which is tripped thermally and is arranged electrically in series. According to the invention, it is provided that the retaining housing is used as a switch fusing arrangement (1), in whose retaining chamber, which is otherwise provided for a fuse insert, there can be inserted an insertion body (4), essentially designed as a fuse insert, which contains a varistor (5) between the upper and lower contacts (7 and 8) as an overvoltage arrestor and a fusing conductor (6) as a thermal switching member, the lower contact (15) of the switch fusing arrangement being blocked against contact to the fuse inserts by means of an insulating ring (14) and the contact to an insertion body (4) taking place by means of a matching, shaped contact lower cap (7).
