Abstract
Natural sunlight (1) is collected by a light concentration element (2) aligned by the lens (3) and beamed onto the catchment unit (4), from which it is conducted to the prism (10), optically connected to the several conductors (8) leading to the individual diffuser elements (12) in the areas (13) to be illuminated. If the natural light is insufficient at any time, then this is detected by the light regulator (11) which switches power on to the electrical light source (6) via the electrical conductors (5). Backed by the parabolic reflector (7) the light emitted by the source (6) is concentrated onto the second catchment device (4) and directed via the second conductor (9) to the prism (10) to add-to, or substitute-for, the natural light being fed to the diffusers (12). Heat generated by the light source (6) is collected in a heat exchanger (8) and conducted away as a heat energy source by the coolant (14).
